Content
The Content Team is responsible for selection and preparation of speakers for the TEDxWarwick main conference and salon events. This involves researching potential speakers, sending out invitations and working closely with speakers on script development to ensure they deliver the best talk of their life. This role would be suitable for you if you are an excellent researcher with exceptional communication skills and are confident and committed to the ethos of TED.
Marketing
The Marketing Team works towards moulding the public perception and the branding of TEDxWarwick, in and around the Warwick community, through the promotion of our event as well as the TED ethos. The framework and focus of our outreach effort binds us closely with the rest of the team, in particular Publications and Creative.
Publications
The TEDxWarwick Magazine was introduced in 2014 and has been a growing success every year since. We are looking for committed and diligent members to be a part of our Publications team, managing our conference magazine, newsletters, and digital blog. You will be responsible for curating content related to the main conference, society events, our speakers, and hot topics across the modern world. Technical
The Technical Team is responsible for the design and maintenance of our website, as well as various technical aspects of the live events. We work closely with the other teams in TEDxWarwick including Creative, Publications & Marketing. Typical tasks include recording & editing talks, website design and maintenance, and production of slides and visual aids.
Creative
The Creative Team is in charge of the visual identity of TEDxWarwick, focusing on creating all graphical and visual elements for upcoming events to a professional standard. There are various aspects covered within the Creative Team, which include, but are not limited to: digital photography, video shooting and editing, creating posters and flyers for digital and physical marketing, stage and magazine design, and TEDxWarwick merchandise creation.
Operations
The Operations Team is responsible for the flawless execution of TEDxWarwick 2022 and all of the other events held within the society. This includes, and is not limited to organising the venue, catering, ticketing, volunteer management and social events. You will be working closely with the other TEDxWarwick teams to ensure that all logistics and operations are in order, and all our events run smoothly.
