TEDx Warwick

What is TEDx?

Are you excited by new ideas? Are you looking for something refreshingly entertaining?

Do you think that knowledge should be shared in a more fresh and fun manner?

Then we've got something for you. And it's coming right to your doorstep.

TEDx talks are independently run events based on the traditional TED conferences that bring people together in a spirit of sharing new ideas and sparking discussion. Within these exciting presentations, the most passionate and forward-thinking individuals from around the world are called upon to present their audience with a topic relevant to their field of work, within the space of only 18 minutes, in an exciting and educational manner. Arts and sciences collide in a melting pot of outstanding, innovative and fresh ideas that will have you thinking in ways you never before expected. From philosophical debates to witnessing an egg being un-boiled, there is sure to be something to spark your curiosity. Often hilarious, occasionally outrageous and always deeply thought-provoking, these talks are coming to Warwick University and are sure to be as inspiring as they are entertaining!

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
