The first TEDxSouthamptonUniversity was held in 2013 and featured a range of talks that explored issues related to sustainability. In 2014, TEDxSouthamptonUniversity will focus on what we can do to not only sustain but flourish. New ways of living in a new world. We may have to navigate dangers, some from the natural world, some from ourselves, but we can and arguably must also build a vision of what a good life is and how we and future generations can flourish in the 21st Century.
Situated in historic Somerset House, The Courtauld is a unique institution dedicated exclusively to the study, preservation and conservation of art. This year, TEDxCourtauldInstitute recognises The Courtauld as a centre for art yet pushes beyond its borders, exploring the ways in which we as humans reach our full potential and bring about change. How have your experiences shaped who you are today? What tools did you use to carve your achievements? Why does what you do matter, and how does it impact life?
TEDxLoughborough return for their second event on February 22nd, 2014. More information about the event is available on their website.
The theme of this year's TEDxLSE conference is World's Architects. With this theme, they want to encourage and empower people to be architects of positive change in their lives and in our world. The speakers will inspire you with the latest thinking and innovation on how to build a better future for all - using tools from art and comedy to sustainability and happiness research.
TEDxBathUniversity strives to re-create the unique experience found at TED, where the world's leading thinkers and doers congregate to share what they are most passionate about. We aim to provide a platform where the smartest thinkers, greatest visionaries, and most fascinating teachers will be inspired and will have the opportunity to inspire others.
